If your potential players already have a player account, e.g. because they have registered in the app, are logged in with a guest account or already have a player account from other events, then simply send them the general standard event QR code!
Players can scan this event QR code and will be linked to your event as a team.
The QR code can be scanned outside the app or in various places within the app (e.g. in the event list, in the login area or in the simple event selection).
If your potential players do not yet have a player account. Then they must first register in the app or alternatively continue in the login area of the app with a guest account!
The general event QR code is valid indefinitely.
However, you can also generate different event QR codes with different validity periods!
General event QR code with defined validity #
If you do not want to pass on the standard event QR code due to its unlimited validity, simply create a new general event QR code.
To do this, go to the side menu in the event dashboard – “Individual views” – “QR code accesses”.
Under the “General” tab, you can create further general event QR codes with different validity periods. Attention! Validity -1 = unlimited!
