Playing test events!

Updated on October 16, 2024

Why should you try out our test events? #

Get to know the features: The test events offer you an ideal opportunity to discover and understand the different functions of the app. Whether it’s tasks, interactions or special game mechanics – the test events show you how everything works together.

Simple and straightforward: These test events are deliberately kept simple so that you can concentrate on the important functions and possibilities without being distracted by complex content.

Ideal for getting started: If you are using the app or the backend for the first time, the test events are an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the environment. You will learn how events are structured and which features you can use for your own events.

Preparation #

1. Download scavenger hunt app redesign #

Download our native scavenger hunt app. You can find it under the name “espoto serious games”. Simply use one of the following links to find the app in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download it directly!

2. Log in #

Start the app and log in with your existing event manager, operator or player account. If you don’t have an account, you can also try out the app without logging in with a guest account. In this case, a demo account will be created automatically so that you can test the most important functions.

3. Scan the test event QR code #

In the app, either in the easy-event-selection-view or in the event list, you can easily scan one of the event QR codes from below. As soon as you have scanned the QR code, the corresponding test event will start and you can get started right away!
