The Route Graph gives you a visual overview of your game route. It shows groups, conditions, and connections within the game flow and helps you identify branches or potential errors more easily.
The integrated validation also highlights errors and warnings before you save and test your route.
Open the Route Graph #
You can open the Route Graph from the toolbar.
The gray lines show follow-up groups.
The blue lines show possible visibility conditions. Dashed lines indicate OR conditions.
The clock icon marks groups that are triggered by time or points.
Clicking a group takes you directly to the corresponding card.
Save, review, and handle conflicts #
Saving always saves the currently active route as a whole.
Unsaved changes are indicated by a blue dot for each route individually. You can switch between routes without losing your changes.
If you leave the page while there are unsaved changes, the CMS will ask for confirmation as a precaution.
Validation #
The board continuously checks your route and lists anything that requires attention in the validation panel next to “Save”.
Red errors must be fixed before the route can be saved. For example, a condition that does not have a selected answer.
Yellow warnings do not prevent saving, but they are worth reviewing, for example unused spots or a condition that can never be triggered.
If two people are working at the same time #
If someone else has saved the same route in the meantime, the system will reject your save attempt and offer to reload the latest version. Your unsaved changes to that route will then be lost. This prevents changes from being overwritten without notice.
Tip: Coordinate with each other when working on the storytelling of the same event.
