1. How much does it cost to use espoto?
The cost depends on how you want to use espoto. For team events, we offer a flexible pay-per-use model starting at €18 per team (international markets). For educational institutions and tourism applications, we also offer dedicated licensing and billing models. This means you only pay for the type and level of usage that fits your needs.
2. Is there a setup fee or minimum contract term?
There is generally no setup fee for using espoto. Our pay-per-use models also come without long-term contractual commitments: you can prepare your game in advance and only pay when you actually run it. Monthly or annual licensing plans are subject to the respective contract terms and cancellation conditions stated for each plan.
3. What is included in the espoto pricing?
The price includes access to the espoto platform, including the Online Editor as well as the apps and features available with the respective plan. Hosting, updates and our standard support are also included. The exact features available depend on the selected pricing or licensing model.
4. What is the difference between Basic and Professional?
Basic is ideal for classic, largely self-guided digital scavenger hunts, city rallies and games. Professional adds features designed for facilitated and highly interactive events, such as live communication, Operator Calls, Gadgets and live event control.
You can choose between Basic and Professional for each individual event. There is no need to commit to one option permanently – simply select the model that best fits the requirements of each event.
5. Can I try espoto for free before purchasing?
Yes. You can explore espoto first and create and test your own game in the Online Editor. This allows you to see whether the platform and the features you need are a good fit for your project before any costs arise for live or commercial use.
6. Are there special rates for running a large number of events?
Yes. We offer individual pricing for large events, high participant numbers or regular use. This can be particularly attractive for event agencies, companies running multiple events or larger projects. Simply get in touch with us and we’ll recommend the pricing model that best fits your needs.
7. What pricing models are available for educational institutions?
For individual projects, schools and other educational institutions can use espoto flexibly on a pay-per-use basis. For regular use, we offer a flat-rate plan or education licence. This makes it possible to run multiple classes, project days or learning activities without having to bill each individual project separately.
8. How does the pricing model for public experiences work?
For tourism applications, we distinguish between free and commercial experiences. Non-commercial experiences that visitors can use free of charge are available under a fixed licensing model. If tours or digital experiences are sold to customers, billing can be based on a revenue-share model. We’ll be happy to advise you on which option is the best fit for your offer.
