With our update 3.6 for our Serious Games Scavenger Hunt App, we are expanding your options for creating tasks and interactive games. With version 3.6 and higher, we have introduced 10 new, innovative task types that offer you even more flexibility and creative freedom.
Whether you’re creating new tasks for a scavenger hunt, an educational game or an event, our new task types give you numerous ways to make your content more interactive and exciting. Here is a deeper insight into the individual task types:
Perfect for tasks where players have to estimate a value or number. The intuitive slider enables precise input and makes estimation tasks more dynamic and visually appealing.
Structure and organize – with this task type, your players can put text elements in the right order. Ideal for knowledge games where the correct order of events, numbers or facts is important.
Similar to the text variant, pictures can also be sorted. Whether historical photos, diagrams or other visual content – the players have to recognize and apply the correct order.
A classic among learning tasks! Create tasks in which participants have to fill in missing words in a text. This is a great way to test knowledge in a fun way.
Add a new level of challenge to your games. Your players can use this task type to enter codes to solve tricky puzzles. This also works with normal text tasks, but the special UI of this task type contributes to better storytelling. For example in escape games or detective games!
Whether numbers or simple codes – many creative scenarios can also be implemented with the “Numpad” task type. The advantage of this task type over the normal text task is also in the UI for storytelling in escape games or detective games, for example.
Pictures often speak louder than words! This task type allows players to choose from several images. You can decide whether the order of selection is important or not. This task type is very varied – ideal for quiz questions or matching games.
All kinds of matching games can be implemented with this task type. Match pairs of pictures or combine pictures and text – the application possibilities are endless!
A challenge for your players’ keen eyes. For example, they have to find and mark differences, other errors or areas you have specified in pictures, depending on the task type. This type of task is a great way to test observation skills.
Puzzle games get an upgrade with this task type. Create classic puzzles where your players put pieces together, or add a solution word that only reveals itself after the pieces have been put together correctly.
We want you to experience these new types of tasks live! That’s why we’ve prepared a special test event where you can try out the new tasks in our Serious Games Scavenger Hunt App.
