Everything in life has its time. And for our long-time companion, our old scavenger hunt app, the time has come to say goodbye. After a decade of unforgettable adventures and the enthusiasm of over 2 million people, it is time for us to say goodbye with a smile and a tear. In three months, we will be decommission our old digital scavenger hunt app to make way for something new and exciting: our comprehensively revamped “espoto serious games” app.
We would like to thank each and every one of our loyal partners who have walked this path with us and made the stability of our app possible over the years. Our old app was successful for many years, but his design is now outdated. Adapting it to new technologies is time-consuming and the maintenance effort increased considerably. That’s why we developed a new redesign two years ago, which has already been successfully used by various partners for a year.
It is now time to switch to the new redesign, to ensure that all our partners continue to enjoy an optimal user experience. We are confident that the improvements and modern design of the new redesign will be as well received as the old scavenger hunt app.

We would also like to say goodbye to our new online editor, which is now officially launched as a standard version (previous beta) after an extensive testing phase. Since its introduction as a beta version almost three years ago, we have gathered valuable feedback and have been continuously working on improvements. The new standard version of our online editor offers a variety of new features and an optimized user experience.
We are confident that this move will be seamless for all users. For partners who still need support in using the new editor, we offer free basic software training and paid advanced operator training.
