Your own game concept

Do you have your own idea, or haven’t found the right game in our portfolio yet? Then we’ll work with you to develop a custom concept.

From the initial idea and game mechanics to storytelling and technical implementation, our game designers guide you through the entire development process. We can build on the espoto software or, if your project requires it, incorporate other technical or analog solutions as well.

Our first steps to your own game - an example:

Step 1 – Workshop

In a 1 – 2 day game design workshop, we guide you and your team through the conception of a serious game using our proven Game Based Thinking method. With the help of our workshop cards, we go into brainstorming in a structured way and guide you through the process from the preliminary considerations with topics, goals, target groups and framework to concrete and suitable game mechanics and storytelling.

Step 2 – Concept

After our workshop, we prepare the results for you. Based on these preliminary considerations, our experienced game designers work on idea sketches so that game mechanics, storytelling and game design can fulfill your defined goals and requirements. The idea sketch contains all the essential considerations for the key components and functions that will make your game distinctive and unique. This outline will give you a clear insight into the specific look and feel of your game, how it will work and the benefits it will ultimately offer.

Step 3 – Concept presentation

As soon as the concept is complete, we can discuss this concept together. We will present you concrete examples from our experience that illustrate what such a game could actually look like. We will explain the advantages of our concept and take the time to explain the details and answer your questions. You will have the opportunity to examine the presented concept.

Depending on the technical requirements, we will then be happy to advise you on the implementation and can either rely on our own Serious Games Technology or other alternatives. You can then decide whether you are convinced by the game concept presented and whether you would like us to prepare an offer for you on this basis. We are ready to support you at every step of the process and turn your vision into reality.
